When the COVID-19 Pandemic began, when many of us were watching endless hours of television while trying to remain calm, Alex took up creating jewelry to keep her hands and mind busy. %25 of proceeds from jewelry sale will forever be given to The Bail Project.

Artistic Services
Alex teaches private art lessons that are uniquely designed and planned for each individual student based on their interest and needs. Alex also is an academic tutor who utilizes arts skills and integrates these styles and strategies into her teaching.
Alex can bring people, pets, places, moments, etc. from your life or elsewhere into the format and size befitting of the subject. Work with Alex to commemorate something in a unique way as a drawing, painting, collage, or murals.
Alex creates unique handmade earrings for faux leather, wood, broken bits of old jewelry, paper goods, etc. Each pair is unique. Alex will be releasing an Exclusive Earring Drop online in Winter, 2023.
Lessons are priced on a sliding scale to accommodate all incomes.

Alex is a graduate of Ithaca College B.A. 2011, and Quinnipiac University MAT 2013. Alex received her certification as an Arts Integration Specialist in 2021. Alex is a professor of Education at Quinnipiac University, and is the Education Manager at Arts for Learning CT. Alex has been painting custom portraits of loved ones, loved places, and loved items for over a decade. Alex currently resides in New Haven with her husband, cockatiel, and their many plants.

Alex's family has owned 14 Pearl Street in New Haven for nearly 100 years. Since the beginning, various family members have lived in the apartments there including Alex's great Grandmother, Father, Alex and her husband, after they got married. The home is located near the church where 3 generations of her family have been married.
​
Alex's commissions feature people, pets, places, and objects that hold special significance to her clients. Many of the works have a unique take, and are often compiled of several ideas. Alex works with the client to create the perfect unique and personal artwork.
​
Alex's own artwork is an eclectic mix of medium, mostly taking the forms of drawings, paintings, mixed media, collage, and digital illustration. During the early days of the COVID-19 Pandemic Alex began making jewelry out of upcycled items, wood, and faux leather to support The Bail Project. A portion of proceeds from all Pearl Studio New Haven sales continue to go to The Bail Project.
